Hi! I’m Jono

I’m a physiotherapist originally from Aotearoa, New Zealand, and I’m now proud to call Nova Scotia home. I’ve worked in both high-performance sport and clinical settings, helping people recover from injury, move better, and perform at their best.

I hold a Master’s in Sports Physiotherapy, a Postgraduate Diploma in Rehabilitation, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy. Over the years, I’ve developed and led physiotherapy programs in private practice and professional football (soccer). Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing a persistent issue, aiming to prevent future problems, or looking to enhance your performance, I provide evidence-based, practical solutions tailored to your goals and lifestyle.

As a former competitive footballer – and now a keen runner and rock climber – I know how frustrating it is to be sidelined by pain or injury. Having dealt with my fair share of injuries (plus the odd surgery), I understand rehab not just from a clinical standpoint, but from personal experience too. This insight allows me to combine clinical knowledge with lived experience to guide your recovery.

Since landing in Nova Scotia in 2025, I’ve been soaking up everything Atlantic Canada has to offer: lobster rolls, donair, cheering on the Halifax Tides, hiking the coast, and doing my best to figure out how to speak Canadian, eh.

Whether you’re dealing with a recent injury, managing a long-term issue, aiming to prevent future problems, or looking to improve performance, I’m here to help. My goal is to work with you to build a personalized, progressive plan that fits your life, supports your goals, and gets real results.
